icyybands! Meet Icy aka Nitro aka Mr. Sadity! This Chicago artist is definitely one to keep an eye on. His music can be found on all music platforms, however, his journey began on SoundCloud. Back in 2018, he dropped his first song "Decline" which gained over 1,600 plays! The catchy song is about the ladies who just won't leave Icy alone as he focuses on his music career. Speaking of said career, he continued to release singles on SoundCloud such as "Live Up", "UNDERCOVER", and "ride w us". All of these songs exemplify a Chicago trap sound. The following year, 2019, icyybands released his first tape "STARLUST". This body of work allowed Icy to show us his melodic abilities which can be heard on songs like "Driftin", "Outlaw", "MAVERICK", and more! However, he also maintains his Chicago trap sound (not your typical trap sound as it is spacey and abstract) which is audible on songs like "Stallion", "WILDFLOWER", and "KRYPTONITE". He then continued to releases singles in 2020 and even did his first R&B song which is called "Take A Sip". He also dropped "Groupies Freestyle" which is a hard rap song over a menacing piano beat as Icy delivers his Chicago flow. Then, in 2021, Icyybands dropped his sophomore tape, "ICE N HD". Similar to "STARLUST", Icy is able to showcase his melodic style as well as his trap style. This is evident via songs like "CHANCE", "MAGNIFICENT MILE", "ALL IN", "I JUST", "LOLA BUNNY", and "S550". icyybands is not shy to the camera either. He has many music videos which together prompt over 9,000 views! He has also appeared on projects from 99kez, Lunar Rue, Rxch Chris, Red Kloud, Hoosier Dad, and Streetz Money. Proudly representing Chicago (Southside), he is also heavily involved as a DJ and a graphic designer for the Sadity Enterprise clothing brand. Do not sleep on icyybands!
