Kay Eye

Chicago has long been a beacon of success. Here is another example of the musical talent that resides in the Windy City. Meet Kay Eye! If you think his name seems familiar, it's because it is. His song "Out Fuh Blood" was featured in the game NBA2K22! Kay Eye has been in the rap game for awhile now. It all started back in 2013 when he released his first few songs on SoundCloud ("Hands On The Wheel", "Rich AF x Prince Ahmad", & "Levels (Meek Mill 3Mix")). The style of these songs consist of lyrical bars complimented with turn up trap beats. Keep in mind this was around the time when Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, and more were extremely popular. Just as Kay dropped 3 songs in 2013, he did again the following year. He released another remix called "3rdWorld4Ever (Drake 3Mix)", "Can I Live", & "Fireworks" [which gained over 26,000 plays and was his biggest song at the time]. These 3 songs showcase how versatile the Chicago rapper is. In 2015, Kay Eye released his debut project, "90s Baby"! It certainly has a Chicago drill sound to it for its time. This is heard on songs like "Can I Live", "Hell", "Mourn Me", and more! That tape really shows the development and growth in the artist's ability! The following year, 2016, he released a remix to Young Thug's "Best Friend" and continued to push out more music into 2017 too. His consistency aided in the professional sound he brings in regard to song writing, flow, rhyme scheme, melody, and more! For example, this is heard on his very catchy song "SPEAKERpHONE (prod. BandinoWorld)". He then took a break from music until he retuned in 2020 with his singles, "Water" and "lettaGo". After 3 years of silence, he emerges with confidence and style! He then released his sophomore project "thelostseries: lostTime". This is by far his best catalog to date! It can be heard on songs like "lostEverything" (11,534 streams on Spotify), "not uh loveSong" (24,941 streams), "out fuh Blood" (122,753 streams), and more! Kay was met with wild success from this project too! His song "out fuh Blood" was featured on NBA2K22's soundtrack! He also has music videos as well. We are more than excited to see what his future holds. We hope to see more videos and songs from him. Check him out!
