It's always a joy discovering new artists. Look at this rising star; meet Kelo of Dopeness! Hailing from Los Angeles, California, this artist only delivers heat. It all started back in 2014 when he released his first song on SoundCloud, "Work". Formally known as Timmy Token, Kelo spent lots of time developing his sound. From trap-rap, to melodic-rap, to hip-hop, and more, he showcases how versatile he can be. This is heard on songs like "Try Me" and "Way Up" [which gained over 4,800 plays] (released back in 2015 and 2016). In 2016, he released his first soulful boom-bap song, "1973", where he was able to demonstrate his lyrical ability. However, he was still able to show his mainstream potential in his song "Jammin" which dropped the same year. The following year, 2017, Kelo released his first EP, "Token Vision" which went off to show how consistent this man is. In 2018, he dropped his song "Angels Do Exist" on Spotify where he began to pick up traction. In 2019, he dropped a feel-good rap song, "Thanks, next." where he showcases his story-telling ability! Then, in 2020, he dropped his biggest song at the time, "Hungry Af". With a catchy beat, flow, melody, ad-libs, delivery and more, he was able to really grab the attention of many and build a solid fanbase! He didn't let the COVID-19 pandemic stop his creativity, and this is proven on his song "I'm Outside", a fun turn-up song! Kelo was able to keep up the energy that year and dropped many songs, including his biggest one to date, "Lawyer European" (which gained over 48,000 streams on Spotify). By 2021, Kelo dropped his popular songs "HA HA HA", "Miss Johnson's Titties", and his sophomore EP, "Land of Dope". This project had wild success for the young artist. Kelo has grown in his music exponentially in regard to his professional sound. This is audible on songs like "Adios, Vamonos", "Send It", and "Maybelline (Physical Attraction)"! The best part is, this is only the beginning for Kelo. Now, in 2022, Kelo released his very catchy songs "Save The Penguins" and "BEAN"! His flow and voice really captivate the listener. It's notable to mention that he's not shy to the camera either. He has many music videos and they're all fun to watch. His music is fun to listen to.
