Mz Koolaid

Updated: Jun 18, 2021

Meet Mz Koolaid! Hailing from Chicago, this artist tells her story via hip-hop songs. She knew she was destined to do music back in high school and her first video out was of her freestyling, and it was put on YouTube back in 2010! That year, she released his first mixtape called "Koolaid and Collard Greens". It was put on Datpiff and it contained songs like "I'M SO CHI-TOWN", "BMF", "HOMETOWN", and more! In 2011, she did a remix to Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" with her song "Black & Red". On her SoundCloud, you can find songs like "RICH", "Hustle and Flow", "Undeniable", "Really Don't Care", and more! Quite recently, she did a remix to Nicki Minaj's "Seeing Green" which gained over 2,200 plays, and Drake's "Lemmon Pepper Freestyle" which gained over 4,500 plays. The style Mz Koolaid brings is hip-hop and it can be heard via her flow and bars. She was inspired by the likes of Whitney Houston, Tupac, Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony, and more. She has a recognizable voice as well. Her latest music video is "You Gon' Miss Me" and it has over 2,000 views. The song's beat has a nice vocal sample complimented with a chill jazz guitar riff. It's a song about a relationship she was in and she explains it as she walks around Chicago. On her Spotify, her biggest song is "Keep On" as it has over 8,100 streams. Her second biggest song is "God Flow" as it has over 8,000 streams. Her latest on Spotify is "Gorilla (Freestyle)" and it has over 5,700 streams. Mz Koolaid has been in the game for awhile now. We hope to see more music videos from her. She's scheduled to release an EP this year! Keep an eye on this one!
